Elopements are a beautiful way to celebrate love. They are often sweet and intimate and truly focus on the couple. Downtown Denver is a great place for elopements. With its large columns and giant outdoors steps, a cherished spot is the old Denver Courthouse. It’s conveniently across the street from the new courthouse and gives an urban feel to photos.
Even though these two cuties eloped, we still did a first look. L beamed with pride as he saw his bride.
M wore a modified version of her mother’s wedding dress, which was altered to fit her perfectly. She paired it with white pumps and a mini veil, while L donned a classic blue suit. M’s dad surprised her with custom socks that had her face on them- AMAZING!
After the vows, they signed their marriage license, and we took some family photos together. The rest of the day
As the day unfolds, the beauty of the old Denver Courthouse shines through. The couple and their loved ones create memories that last a lifetime. The sweet moments, like a shared glance or a gentle touch, turn into timeless images. We closed out the day with couples portraits. I used flash inside to create high contrast, fun photos that perfectly vibed with M & L.
