In 2013, I lost one of my good friends to a selfish act of violence. Months earlier, we held an impromptu portrait session in her backyard. I look fondly back at that day and am grateful that I have those precious photos. You see, photography to me is about more than just pictures—it’s about capturing authentic moments to preserve stories for years to come.

All you need is love, but gorgeous photos can’t hurt. I will pose and direct you for the best shots, while also documenting the day as honestly as possible.

If you’re looking for someone who you can be yourself around, will look out for you, and truly cares about you as a couple, you’ve come to the right place.

Documentary wedding photography is for couples who want to hang out with guests, and feel comfortable in front of the camera. Instead of running through a checklist, I take photos that show the day as it really happened: genuine and unscripted. Don’t worry, I’ll use prompts and posing for the couples portraits so you’ll always look good too.

II. Tea Ceremonies

I have a deep understanding of the cultural nuances, intricacies, and significance that tea ceremonies hold. Whether your tea ceremony is more traditional, or you’re going fusion style to blend two cultures, I’m ready to capture the paramount moments.

III. Elopements

Some couples pick a venue, others pick a spot on the map. Whether you want to take on a hike or you’re more the city type, having a me present for your elopement is a decision you’ll never regret!
