Arushi and Rhaguveer chose San Francisco City Hall for their elopement. The sun shines through the halls and makes for perfect lighting at almost any time of day. They chose my mini elopement package, that includes up to three hours of coverage for the ceremony, with a full portrait session onsite.

The couple made an appointment online to pick up their marriage license onsite and have a civil ceremony at the same time. I had the great honor of being the witness on marriage certificate; that honor never gets old!

After signing the marriage license, we made it to the stunning rotunda for the ceremony. The beauty of this room as the ceremony space adds a magical touch to a simple ceremony. As they exchanged vows and promises to each other, their smiles lit up the room. It was a moment of pure joy. I love how intimacy can be felt in a place like this. The grand architecture and soft light created a romantic atmosphere.

Once the ceremony was over, we explored the iconic halls for photos. The soft marble and intricate details of City Hall served as the perfect backdrop. We wandered through the building, taking romantic photos that captured their playful spirit. Each photo is like the scene from your favorite rom com. It was clear that they were so happy to be newlyweds. Their happiness was truly contagious.

Arushi and Rhaguveer savored each moment, laughing and enjoying themselves. Their love story shone through every photo, making it a rewarding experience. It’s always a joy to witness such a beautiful celebration of love in a place as iconic as San Francisco City Hall. Every moment felt special, and their happiness made it all the more memorable.

My couples always request photos on the grand staircase. I happily oblige. It’s a beautiful sight to behold. The grand staircase leads guests from the first to the second floor. From there, you can take one of many elevators up to the fourth floor balconies. The fourth floor truly has the best lighting, in my opinion. It’s usually a little crowded, but on this particular Thursday, we were lucky enough to have the space to ourselves for almost an hour!
