Kristina and Jason’s spring wedding was so fun to capture. Spring is a magical time for weddings, especially in a place like the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, Arizona. The garden naturally blooms with vibrant colors. Getting married in a botanical garden is a great hack for having a naturally beautiful scene without going into nature.

Kristina and Jason met at a concert, and their love for music brought them all the way to their wedding day. The couple opted out of having getting ready photos in their package, but I still managed to snag some while the bridesmaids were prepping her for the ceremony. How sweet are these candids?

The ceremony took place at the Boppart Courtyard, where the string lights beautifully lit the space when the sun was low. Kristina wore a classic ball gown with a shimmery veil that flowed beautifully. Her bouquet had notes of purple and blue, bright and cheerful. Jason wore a light grey suit as he stood by her side with the promise of forever.

During the ceremony, the full garden was alive with life. Cacti, flowers, and greenery surrounded them as they said their vows. I love it when guests cry during the ceremony. Love really filled the air.

After the ceremony, the wedding party took a short walk to the Center for Desert Living, another iconic structure at the Desert Botanical Garden. It was a great place to frame the wedding party and family for photos. I absolutely LOVE the lilac bridesmaid dresses! More colorful weddings, please. As the day went on, the sun began to set. The soft sunlight casts a warm glow and creates a beautiful backdrop for bride and groom photos. We took couples portraits in the iconic cactus garden at the Desert Botanical Garden.

Their reception was held in Dorrance Hall, a 4,600 sq. foot reception hall with natural decor. Tables were set with bright centerpieces the same colors as the bridesmaids florals, and light blue napkins were at each plate.

When dancing began, the energy was electric! Cheers to Kristina and Jason, may your marriage be filled with all things good and lots of cake.
