The Oasis Wild Horse Ranch Wedding Reception

Summer Tucson Wedding

Analia and Owen’s summer wedding at Oasis at Wild Horse Ranch in Tucson, AZ was a beautiful celebration of their love. The couple has shared a bond since middle school, making this day even more special for their friends and family.

Oasis at Wild Horse Ranch Wedding Timeline

Owen and his groomsmen got ready at the JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort and Spa in Tucson. The suite was large and provided ample light, perfect for finishing touches before the wedding!

The two opted to forgo a first look, and instead exchanged their vows during a first touch. This is a sweet time where the couple stand back to back and have a moment to themselves before the ceremony starts. Because they did not see each other before the ceremony, wedding party and family photos needed to be taken during cocktail hour.

In the summer, Oasis at Wild Horse Ranch only allows ceremonies to take place as the sun begins to set. Analia and Owen’s July ceremony started around 6:30pm. The sky transformed into shades of orange and pink, creating a stunning backdrop. Mountains and cacti surrounded the area, capturing the essence of the desert. This natural beauty felt rustic and enchanted, adding to the romance of the moment.

The reception was decorated with loads of fresh white floral and eucalyptus arrangements. Can you believe the bride’s mom put together these arrangements with her friends the days leading up to the wedding? She should become a pro eh? The flowers created a soft contrast against the rustic wooden tables, and stood out beneath the draped ceilings with twinkle lights.

A personal touch to the menu came from Analia’s Chilean roots. For dessert, guests were served chocolate Chilean cake made by her aunt. It was a sweet nod to her heritage.

I love using flash during nighttime portraits, check out a few of my favorite photos from their summer wedding in Tucson, and a behind-the-scenes video on how I captured photos from the ceremony below!
