Emily and William held their wedding reception at the beautiful fall Lafayette Park Hotel in the East Bay. The European charm of this venue makes for absolutely stunning photos. The weather in September was perfect and the fun vibes were high too. Guests arrived after the church ceremony for cocktail hour before dinner under the stars. The couple chose to do a first look before the ceremony, they were able to finish their portraits and wedding party photos before ceremony too.
After that first look, they had a sweet ceremony in the backyard. While we were taking family photos, some friends helped flip the ceremony space, which replaced the rows of chairs with a long farm table for dinner.
I absolutely loved how charming Leah and Tanner’s microwedding was. They still got to do all the traditional elements of a larger wedding, getting ready, first look, private vows, a ceremony, cake cutting, family photos, but in a much smaller setting that was true to them. Their photos turned out amazing!
