Arizona venues open 10:30pm or later

Are you planning a wedding in Arizona and dreaming of a reception that lasts late into the night? While many venues in Arizona have “early”closing times due to county sanctions, there are a select few wedding venues that are open late to offer the flexibility and ambiance to keep the party going.

I haven’t been to Tuscany, but there’s a venue in Arizona that makes me feel like I’m right in Italy! The venue’s architecture is inspired by Gothic and Renaissance time periods and can be noticed throughout its corridors and rooms. One thing to note about this venue is that it requires couples to select from its list of DJ, florists, and catering professionals. Events taking place on a Friday or Saturday have an end time of 11:00pm, while events taking place Sunday-Thursday must end by 10:00pm.

DBG has many different ceremony and reception spaces to choose from, including Boppart Courtyard, shown above, for weddings. Surrounded by the stunning cacti varieties, couples often find they can save on florals and other decor that other venues may otherwise need.

This venue has a special place in my heart, as it was where my husband and I were married! Dare I say it was absolutely perfect? It doubles as a fine dining restaurant at the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort- all of our guests are still raving about the food.  It offers 360 degrees of breathtaking views of the entire city of Phoenix. In the daytime, you can view North Mountain and at night, the entire city lights up in front of your very eyes. DPOV is an exceptional choice for a ceremony that shows guests all of what Phoenix has to offer and a reception that naturally extends into the late evening. As a self-proclaimed expert of this venue, I am happy to answer any questions you may have!

When planning your Arizona wedding, especially if you envision a celebration where the dancing doesn’t stop, my two tips as a wedding photographer are to 1) prioritize communication with your chosen venue and vendors, and 2) think of the guest experience. Don’t be afraid to ask venues about their late-night policies, sound curfews, and any additional fees for extended event hours. They are there to answer your questions after all. If you are having a late party, consider bringing out late-night food to fuel your guests. Ideas are extra desert, tacos, ramen bars, or flatbreads.
