Wedding Photographer in Arizona & Beyond
Fifteen years ago I picked up a camera for the first time as part of my high school’s newspaper club. I started taking photos of sports, namely wrestling, before moving onto portraits of my friends. I continued journalism at university, and took photography courses alongside my marketing curriculum. My passion for photography grew when I realized my favorite part of photography is telling the story behind the people in front of my lens. I love making my clients feel seen.
Even with many years in the industry, I still don’t take my job lightly and feel very lucky everyday I get to create. Before I went full time with photography, I was working in biotech at a DNA synthesis company. I am quick on my feet and remain calm when shit hits the fan. If you’re looking for a photographer who will support your wild ideas, hype you up, and quietly catch the candid moments you didn’t even realize were happening, you found me!

My Commitment to You
I understand what it takes to be truly committed to my craft. I spent a decade competing and training in the sport of Olympic weightlifting. At my best, I was top 10 in the country for my weight class. So with that being said, trust me when I say: I understand commitment and am committed to getting to know the real you. My goal is to photograph you in your truest form, to capture the beautiful essence of who you are.
My roots
I’m a first generation Vietnamese America and one of the few bilingual photographers in Arizona who speak both English and Vietnamese. My parents escaped to the United States from Vietnam in the 80s. I spent most of my life in Wisconsin (#cheesehead), and moved to Arizona short of a decade ago when I realized it was 70 degrees in December. I’m a sunshine addict now. My innate curiosity leads me to meeting the best and most interesting humans, and boy, do I have an important job.
The Experience I Provide
My ultimate goal is to photograph fun couples in fun places with a good mix of candid and prompted shots. I capture genuine emotions and always tell you if you have a flyaway hair. Don’t be surprised if I ask you to tuck you tag in, hide your bra strap, or brush hair out of your eyes.

Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. I love to travel and am able to travel most of the year. My adventurous soul takes me all over. Travel pricing is dependent on your location. Let’s go places!
Have you ever shot at my venue before?
As much as I love traveling, I also love new venues. Visiting a new venue forces me to be creative, as I come in with a fresh eye. I have photographed weddings in five states, with mostly different venues each time. Dare I say I rock them each time?
Pro tip: don’t think you need a photographer who’s worked at your venue before in order for them to be good. You just need someone who knows their stuff. Well.
What’s the process like?
Once you make an inquiry on my website, I’ll reach out within 48 hours.
- From there, I’ll schedule a short video call so we can virtually meet and discuss the day.
- I’ll send you a custom proposal and quote to review.
- Once you sign the contract, I’m yours for the day.
We’ll keep in touch leading up to your wedding to make sure I stay up to date. Keep me notified of the details- I’m all ears.
Are you okay with queer weddings?
Absolutely!! I am a proud ally and believe love is love. I wholeheartedly support the LGBTQ+ community.
How far out do you book?
Most of my clients book eight-12 months out from their wedding. Some clients book three months out. I’ve even had clients book week of. The best way to know if I have availability for your date is to inquire!
What’s included?
You get a definitely hilarious (ask my dogs) hype woman, who doubles as a wedding encyclopedia, with all the bells and whistles. My work starts far before your wedding, but does not end once it’s over. We’ll be friends for life!
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive a link to an online gallery with all photos within 6 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season’s volume). You can download all the photos from the gallery, share with your guests, choose your favorites, and order prints from that gallery link.
Most packages include sneak peeks within 48 hours.
How many pictures will we receive?
My clients receive about 50-80 images per hour of onsite time. For example, for an 8-hour wedding, I will deliver 400- 650 photos. I choose quality rather than quantity and will always choose the best and more significant photos to edit.
