Phoenix Engagement Photography

Major congrats on your engagement!

You found me because you’re recently engaged (yay!) and looking for an engagement photographer in Phoenix. I love surprise proposals too 👀 Thankfully you’ve come to the right place- I would love to celebrate the two of you! Let’s explore what it’s like to work with me for a couples shoot.

Why take the engagement photos?

An engagement session is opportunity for the three of us to get to know each other and will also help me understand how to best capture your wedding day later on.

I offer styling advice, can set up hair and makeup services, and keep you smiling during your session so you look your very best. There are some gorgeous locations in the Phoenix Valley to shoot at. We will work together in deciding the perfect location to make sure your mood board become a reality.

If the weather outside is too hot or the outdoors isn’t your thing, we can opt to shoot inside a studio. Air conditioning is great.

Phoenix Engagement & Couples Photographer

I keep my sessions light-hearted and fun. Engagement shoots are definitely one of my most favorite aspects of the entire wedding photography process. I use humor and connection to make my photos come to life.

They’re a great way for you and I to get closer, which helps put you at ease regarding photography. Most couples feel a little nervous and rigid at the beginning of the session; however, they quickly warm up to me and are pros by the end.

Outdoor Phoenix Engagement Photo Locations

The Phoenix valley and surrounding areas are gorgeous nature scapes. You can find a plethora of different landscapes ranging from desert cacti, to high alpine forests, to mountain ranges with pine trees. In the spring, the valley boasts colorful wildflowers. In the fall, the Northern parts of Arizona offer fall foliage in an array of colors.

Here are some of my favorite locations to take engagement photos outdoors in Arizona:

  • Superstition Mountains
  • Usery Mountain Regional Park
  • Sedona
  • Canyon Lake
  • Tempe Town Lake
  • Desert Botanical Garden
  • Papago Park

Indoor Engagement Photo Locations in Phoenix

If indoors is more your vibe, we can head to studio for a clean, sleek look, or take some photos in a place that’s special to the two of you. Couples enjoy taking photos in bars, speakeasies, hotels, museums, or even movie theaters.

This was our very first photo shoot together as a couple, and I was a little nervous at first, but Tram made both of us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She has such a warm and easygoing energy, and her creativity really shines through — she came up with so many fun ideas for unique shots on the spot. She even went above and beyond to help us capture one specific photo I really wanted in the middle of the street — and it turned out incredible! I’m so grateful for her patience, professionalism, and artistic eye. She truly made our wedding day even more special and gave us memories we’ll treasure forever. 💛
